(floral dress- thrifted. use to be a maxi dress but i've hemmed it up)

I just hemmed this one the other day! I love the back on this and how it criss-crosses over. I picked it up from the salvos for a dollar or two, I can't remember. I always just buy long ones and forget that I bought them and then when I'm going through my wardrobe I'll discover them again and try and put a date on when I'll get the sewing machine out etc. I still have a few more to show you, but I've got days, weeks, months to show you!

Just a quick post on what I wore/am wearing today. Haven't done too much, just quickly went into the shopping centre but for nothing special and now I'm about to clean my room, how exciting! Not. I have a friends birthday later, we have front row seats at basketball and then we're doing a sunday sesh somewhere.. I hope your Sunday is fun filled!

Thrifted

I always tend to forget about my thrifted maxi dresses. Actually, I tend to forget all of my everyday clothes other than work clothes because all I do is work, work, work. It's a terrible thought but this dress is not! I picked it up from a thrift store for like a dollar or two. I'll post more photos of my other thrifted dresses another day so I can show you all. I hope you enjoy.

Flicking through an old Frankie magazine, they are always so inspiring.

So, on Australia day while you all were enjoying the nice weather listening to JJJ hottest 100, we were couped up inside having to work a very quiet day!! We thought we would entertain ourselves by having a little dress up. What we did was put a 'hot dog' outfit together (a term we use in retail for a dog looking product and trying to make it work AKA look hot). In the first photo I was just mucking  around being a little posh school girl in a Navy blazer, a navy pleated skirt, a straw hat, clear glasses and a little satchel bag. The second photo, Rumi Neely came to visit! Just kidding, I'm wearing this really ugly furry vest, a lepoard print belt, flare jeans, nude heels and some lepoard print sunnies. The third photo a harajuku girl came to visit with nanna! I'm wearing a green floral pussy bow top with the same safari furry vest. The last photos are just because I don't know which colour to get! (After work I ofcourse got to listen to the top 30 at a friends gathering so it wasn't at all that bad!).

Selling

My Guess high waisted shorts, they're a size 27 on tag, which is just the waist measurement. I'm an Aus 6/8 and they fit perfectly. These are going to be included in things I am selling! I'll be putting them on eBay tonight, so keep your eyes on the look out for them!

Monday afternoon cupcakes

Today, I made vanilla cupcakes with hot pink icing. They are delicious! I'd give you some but you're there, and I'm here. Aww.

Maroon

I am currently really loving the colour maroon/burgundy/cherry red in clothing which is weird because I normally don't open my mind to this colour at all, but in clothing I like it. Oh, and I want creepers but black and I wouldn't mind that vintage chanel bag or those sunglasses!

My two Ks

My two Ks are my boyfriend Kerrod and his kitten Kai, which is my little baby. It's so cute, everytime I go over he says to Kai "Mummys home!" or "Look! It's Mummy!" haha, he's so cheesy. Kerrods already in Melbourne so I'm not too happy. I can't wait for February when I move down. He had to leave Kai at home though, which was a really hard decision for him to make.

Boredom got the best of me

Boredom won me over. As always, my dslr is by my bedside, so what do I do on a lonely Sunday night? Pick that camera up, held my yin yang calming ball charm against my macbook pro and take photos. P.S The other symbol I'm making with my hands is not a wrong wayed west side hand gesture, It's an M for Meaghan, or Medamo (I should probably say this, Medamo is short for my first, middle and last name. I've just taken the first two letters from the start of each and ta da! MeDaMo).
